Wednesday, July 15, at 8 pm, from Madrid… TEATRO REAL WILL OFFER ‘LA TRAVIATA' LIVE BROADCAST WORLDWIDE WITH FREE ACCESS TO ITS PLATFORM MY OPERA PLAYER
•Since July 1st, the Teatro Real has been presenting an exciting version of Verdi's opera on its stage, with more than 800 spectators every night and a strict health and safety protocol.
•The performance on 15 July will be the 14th of the 27 programmed with four different casts. That night, the cast will be headed by Marina Rebeka, Michael Fabiano and Artur Rucinski, who will perform together with the Teatro Real's Chorus and Orchestra (Coro y Orquesta Titulares del Teatro Real), conducted by Nicola Luisotti.
•La traviata is presented in a semi-staged version conceived by Leo Castaldi in strict compliance with the current health and safety protocols.
•MyOperaPlayer is Teatro Real's audiovisual platform, which offers a wide range of streaming content from theatres around the world and whose programme is extended weekly.
•Free access to MyOperaPlayer will be allowed uniquely for the live broadcast of La traviata on July 15 at 8pm. The recording will then become part of the platform's catalogue.
•This recording of La traviata, created within the limitations of the health and safety regulations, is an audiovisual co-production between TVE, MOVISTAR and the Teatro Real.
•MyOperaPlayer was created by the Teatro Real in 2019 with the technological participation of Telefónica and Samsung, and is sponsored by Endesa.
